Yes. Orant is free to download and use, and it's supported by ads. Some extras can be unlocked by choosing to watch a short rewarded ad. You never have to.

No. Prayers, meditations, the Bible, Breathe, the daily check-in and quizzes all work without one. An account lets you post in the community, join groups, and keep your streak, plan progress and saved prayers if you change phones.

The whole Bible (all three translations), Breathe, the daily check-in, quizzes, games and the ambient sounds are built into the app. Guided prayers, meditations and music are streamed, so they need a connection. So do Ask Master and the community.

Yes. Your check-in journal is stored only on your phone and is never synced to an account. When you're signed in, a written reflection is briefly checked by an automated safety service, so Orant can offer support resources if you seem to be having a hard time. It's not stored, and no person reads it. The Privacy Policy explains exactly how this works.

Because the journal is only on your phone, uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes it for good.

1. In Orant, go to Me → Settings and make sure Prayer reminders is on, and check your four prayer times.
2. In Android Settings → Apps → Orant → Notifications, make sure notifications are allowed.
3. Under Battery for Orant, choose Unrestricted (or turn off battery optimisation). Some phones, especially Samsung, Xiaomi and OnePlus, stop apps that are "sleeping".

Reminders can arrive a few minutes after the time you set. Android groups them to save battery, and that's normal.

Allow Orant's notifications, since Android uses them for the playback controls, and set Orant's battery use to Unrestricted as above. If a prayer won't start at all, check your connection: guided prayers and music are streamed.

Make sure your phone and your Chromecast or Google TV are on the same Wi-Fi, then tap the Cast button in the music player or a guided session and choose your TV. Closing Orant from your recent apps stops playback on the TV.

The World English Bible (WEB), King James Version (KJV) and American Standard Version (ASV), all 66 books. These are public-domain translations, which is why they can be built into the app for free. Choose yours in Me → Settings.

Feed posts are deleted after 1 day, and prayer requests after 5 days, along with their replies. Every prayer request lets you choose who sees it: everyone, a group, or only you. You can delete your own posts at any time.

Use the report option on the post or reply. Reports are reviewed by a person. If something needs urgent attention, you can also email us with a description of what you saw.

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password? and enter your email. We'll send a link to choose a new one (it works for 30 minutes, so check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive). Still stuck? Email support@orant.online from the address you signed up with. We'll never ask for your password.

Go to Me → Settings → Appearance: Light, Dark, or Auto to follow your phone.

In the app, go to Me → Settings → Delete account, or email us. Full details are on the Delete your account page.
